Preserve Spooner Lake is a group of people who came together in 2020, committed to protecting the health of Spooner Lake and the land around it. We all know, love and have worked to maintain and protect the lake and the surrounding area. We understand that what happens on the land impacts the water. We also understand that economic development is beneficial when it is thoughtfully planned and supports the natural resources and local communities.

We are a loosely organized group, working alongside the Spooner Lake and Rehabilitation District to make connections, share information and find solutions. Our main focus currently is to preserve the peaceful character, clean water and biological integrity of the lake, especially amidst the recent threat of intense development.
